Robertson County
Named after Sterling Robertson one of the signers of the Texas Decleration of Independence, Robertson County is located North of College Station and is home to Robertson, Franklin, Calvert, and Hearne.
Recreation and Entertainment
This part of Texas is renowned for its hunting and fishing with quite a few parks in the area. If you’d like to take in a round of golf, try Oak Grove Golf Course in Franklin or the Hearne Municipal Golf Course in Hearne. Additionall, the Historic Carnegie library in Franklin, Texas is one of only five Carnegie libraries still remaining in Texas that is still used for its original purpose.
Schools
Hearne High School houses 300 students, while Franklin High School works with around 300 students. The Franklin area has a great student teacher ratio with one teacher for every 8 students and Bremond High School educates 149 students.
