Brazos County
The Brazos County is nestled in the heart of Central Texas where traditions reign and history is regarded. With a diverse community, a county population of an estimated 195,000 and a growing student population, the Real Estate opportunities in the Brazos Valley are vast.
Also known as Aggieland, College Station is home to Texas A&M University, which offers more than 120 undergraduate degree programs and 240 Masters and PhD programs. Shopping and Dining
Post Oak mall is home to an array of stores, including Macy’s, Dillard’s, JC Penny, American Eagle and Fossil. If you prefer a slower pace, take a stroll through Historic Downtown Bryan for shopping in all of the boutiques; enjoy food provided by area producers, then watch local musicians play in front of the Queen Theater.

Schools
Bryan Independent School District oversees 26 schools, which educate around 16,000 students and has earned multiple National Blue Ribbons for their elementary schools.
College Station Independent School District directs 14 schools. One of two high schools, A&M Consolidated High School is known for having a rich football tradition with 27 state playoff appearances.
Blinn College was founded in 1883 and currently educates more than 1,800 students throughout its 4 campuses. The Bryan campus is home to 10,000 students with an 80-acre campus that offers a wide verity of associate degrees. Many take advantage of the dual credit opportunities, the fast track program or the continuing education classes. With a well-equipped teaching staff, Blinn transfers more students into Texas A&M then any other community college in Texas.
Texas A&M University was established in 1876 as the state’s first institute for higher education. Now home to 50,000 students, Texas A&M is known across the country for its engineering, agricultural, business schools. In 2011 A&M was voted the Top University in the Southwest, as well as being ranked 8th among public universities in United States. In 2011 the Financial Times Voted the MBA Mays Businesses School #1 in the United States for “Best Value for Money”. Texas A&M is also known for their outstanding Engineering school, with the undergraduate program being ranked 9th overall by US. News and World Report, who also rank A&M as the #1 Petroleum engineering program and #2 nuclear engineering program overall.
Parks and Recreation
Both Bryan and College Station are dotted with softball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds and parks. Construction of a dirt bike track in even underway in Bryan!

Enjoy the outdoors with camping, boating, windsurfing, skiing, wakeboarding, and mountain biking at Lake Bryan or take in a day of fishing at Gibbons Creek where fishermen have reeled in Bass weighing more than 15 pounds!
Not surpassingly, a sports fan would be in heaven in the Brazos County with 18 varsity sports and multiple club teams to watch at Texas A&M, not to mention the gun clubs and hunting tours.
